A connected account is one linked mailbox, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Telegram profile that belongs to a single user. Starter has no connected accounts. On Pro you share individual threads; sharing a whole account with the team starts on Business. Prices are per seat, billed monthly in euros.
We operate without investors and deliberately keep our costs low. This lets us keep prices low for our customers.

Why a specialized CRM?
Large CRM suites bundle marketing, service and sales and charge for modules many small teams never use. Customermates focuses on customer records you configure, the unified inbox and AI access through MCP. You pay for that and extend the rest when needed through the REST API, webhooks or your own n8n instance.
How do I set up a new workspace?
A new workspace starts without lists. On Customermates Cloud, AI setup builds lists, stages, a dashboard and Knowledge Base pages from your description once at onboarding, within a credit cap, and you can skip it to start with an empty workspace. Otherwise people with Configure rights create lists and fields in Configure and import records from an Excel workbook.
What is not included in any plan?
Customermates does not include sequences or mass outreach, quotes or invoicing, telephony or SMS, web forms, native mobile apps, or shared team views (saved views are personal). The inbox works through supported provider integrations, not the official WhatsApp Business API or LinkedIn CRM Sync. SSO and white-label are not built and are only available as contracted Enterprise work.
What counts as a connected account?
A connected account is one linked mailbox, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Telegram profile that belongs to a single user. Pro includes 1 connected account per user, Business includes 3 per user, Max includes 10 per user, and Enterprise is unlimited under fair use. If you need more than 10 accounts per user, Enterprise is the right plan. Starter and self-hosted instances have no connected accounts. On Pro, each person works in their own accounts and can share individual threads; sharing a whole connected account with the team needs Business, Max or Enterprise.
How does monthly billing work?
You pay per active user. When you add or remove users, the change is prorated on your next invoice. Plan upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge for the remainder of the billing period, and downgrades apply immediately with the unused portion credited.
How does Mate usage work?
Every cloud plan includes a Mate entitlement and a monthly Mate usage allowance per active user, stated as a multiple of the Starter allowance: Starter 1x, Pro 3x, Business 10x, Max 20x, and Enterprise as contracted. Business gives the most usage per euro. Usage counts only when Mate is enabled in the hosted environment: hosted AI processing in Customermates then counts toward it. Usage follows the actual provider cost, including model calls and server-side semantic retrieval, so a simple question uses a small share and a multi-step request more. In the app, the Mate meter shows how much of the monthly allowance is used as a percentage. Paid allowances reset monthly; unused usage does not roll over. Every active trial user has the Pro allowance of 3x. Active members’ allowances form the shared workspace pool; each member also has an individual allocation. New paid seats receive an exact prorated allowance for the remaining billing period. Upgrades increase the current allowance immediately; downgrades reduce it immediately. External MCP clients use your own AI provider for model calls. Server-side semantic retrieval can count toward Mate usage, including through MCP. Mate is cloud-only. There are no top-ups or automatic overage charges.
Can one login use several workspaces?
Yes. One login can belong to several fully separate workspaces, for example one for sales and one for bookkeeping, and switch between them. Each workspace has its own plan, subscription and invoices, and seats count per workspace: a person who is active in two workspaces is a paid seat in both. The first workspace you create includes the 7-day free trial; every additional workspace starts by choosing a plan. A self-hosted instance runs any number of workspaces without billing.
What do I get when I self-host?
A self-hosted instance always has the Starter feature set: core CRM, MCP, REST API, webhooks and the n8n interfaces, without billing. The unified inbox, Mate, routines and AI setup run only on Customermates Cloud. MCP with your own AI client works on a self-hosted instance, and that client uses your own AI provider.
