What counts as a connected account?
A connected account is one linked mailbox, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Telegram profile that belongs to a single user. Pro includes 1 connected account per user, Business includes 3 per user, and Enterprise is unlimited under fair use. If you need more than 3 accounts per user, Enterprise is the right plan.
How does monthly billing work?
You pay per active user. When you add or remove users, the change is prorated on your next invoice. Plan upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge for the remainder of the billing period, and downgrades apply immediately with the unused portion credited.
How do hosted AI credits work?
Every cloud plan includes a Mate entitlement and hosted-AI allowance, but whether Mate is live depends on the hosted environment's current configuration. When enabled, hosted AI processing in Customermates uses credits. Simple requests usually use one credit; multi-step work can use more. Paid allowances reset monthly; unused credits do not roll over. Every active trial user has a 500-credit plan allowance, and there is no workspace-wide cap. New paid seats receive a whole-credit prorated allowance for the remaining billing period. Upgrades increase the current allowance immediately; downgrades reduce it immediately. External MCP clients use your own AI provider, are not metered by Customermates, and do not consume Customermates credits. Mate is cloud-only. There are no top-ups or automatic overage charges.
